At Ruth Grimes, we're not just a school—we're a community. From our youngest TK students to our 6th-grade leaders, we come from all over because Grimes is where we belong.

We are proud to offer two strong learning paths: our English-Only Program and our flagship Dual Language Immersion Program. While our students may learn in different classrooms and languages, we learn, lead, and grow together.

This year's theme, Level Up: Learning, Leading, Growing Together, reflects who we are as a school community. We believe every child is capable of growth and success when they are challenged, supported, and celebrated. Whether students are learning to read their very first book, developing leadership skills, becoming bilingual and biliterate, or discovering their passions, we encourage them to take the next step in their journey every day.

At Grimes, literacy is at the heart of our work. We believe literacy empowers our students to learn, lead, and make meaningful contributions to the world around them. Through meaningful learning experiences, we nurture confident readers, writers, speakers, thinkers, and problem-solvers who are prepared to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.

As a Community School, we know that student success is built through strong partnerships. Families are children's first teachers and leaders, and we are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for students, families, staff, and community members to learn and grow together. Our parents aren't just visitors on campus—they are an important part of what makes Grimes such a special place.

At Grimes, learning should be joyful.
