Dear Ruth Grimes Families and Community,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I’m so excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and connection with all of you.
At Ruth Grimes, we are proud to offer two strong academic programs—our Dual Language Immersion and our English-Only Pathway. Both are thriving and work closely together. Our staff models what it means to collaborate across languages and cultures to build a school where all students are supported and celebrated.
This year, our school theme is Lights. Camera. Achievement! Throughout the year, we’ll be shining a spotlight on the hard work and success of our students, staff, and families. Whether it's reaching academic goals, modeling kindness, or helping one another grow—every achievement, big or small, deserves to be seen and celebrated.
We’re also focusing on the power of community partnerships and how vital our families are to everything we do. Whether through our growing Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), family events, classroom volunteers, or parent committees—your voice and involvement matter. Our school is stronger because of you.
We’ve made exciting improvements to our campus, and we can’t wait to reveal our brand-new Kinder classrooms! These beautiful learning spaces were designed with our youngest learners in mind to give them a strong start.
Please save the date for our Back to School Night on Friday, August 1st from 4:00–5:30 p.m. It’s a great chance to meet your child’s teacher, explore our campus, and connect with our school community.
Whether you’re new to Grimes or returning, I invite you to stay connected and involved. Let’s continue to build a school where every child can grow, feel proud, and shine.

Queridas familias y comunidad de Ruth Grimes, ¡Bienvenidos al ciclo escolar 2025–2026! Me emociona comenzar otro año lleno de aprendizaje, crecimiento y conexión con todos ustedes. En Ruth Grimes, nos sentimos orgullosos de ofrecer dos programas académicos sólidos: nuestro programa de Doble Inmersión y nuestro programa en Inglés. Ambos programas están creciendo y trabajan en colaboración. Nuestro personal da el ejemplo de cómo unir culturas e idiomas para crear una escuela donde todos los estudiantes sean apoyados y celebrados. Este año, nuestro tema escolar es ¡Luces, Cámara, Logro! A lo largo del año, destacaremos el esfuerzo y los logros de nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias. Ya sea alcanzando metas académicas, mostrando actos de bondad o ayudándose mutuamente a crecer, cada logro—grande o pequeño—merece ser visto y celebrado. También enfocaremos nuestros esfuerzos en fortalecer las alianzas con la comunidad y reconocer el papel tan importante que tienen nuestras familias en el éxito escolar. Ya sea participando en el PTO, asistiendo a eventos escolares, ayudando en los salones o formando parte de comités, su participación hace la diferencia. Nuestra escuela es más fuerte gracias a ustedes. Hemos hecho mejoras emocionantes en el plantel y no podemos esperar para mostrarles nuestras nuevas aulas de kínder. Estos espacios fueron diseñados especialmente para apoyar a nuestros estudiantes más pequeños desde el primer día. Por favor, anoten la fecha de nuestra Noche de Regreso a Clases el viernes 1 de agosto de 4:00 a 5:30 p.m. Será una excelente oportunidad para conocer al maestro(a) de su hijo(a), recorrer la escuela y reconectarse con nuestra comunidad escolar. Welcome Grimes Families!
My name is Tiffany Davis, and I’m thrilled to join the Ruth Grimes Elementary community this year! From the moment I stepped on campus, I felt the warmth, dedication, and energy that make Grimes such a special place.
As an educator, I’m passionate about creating spaces where students feel safe, seen, and inspired to do their best. Whether it’s through supporting academic growth, building strong relationships, or celebrating everyday successes, I’m here to help our students shine.
This year’s theme—Lights. Camera. Achievement!—perfectly captures the spirit of Grimes. I’m excited to be part of a team that uplifts every student and values the partnerships we share with families. Together, we’ll make this year one to remember.

¡Bienvenidas familias de Grimes!
Mi nombre es Tiffany Davis y estoy muy emocionada de unirme a la comunidad de la Primaria Ruth Grimes este año. Desde el primer momento que llegué al campus, sentí la calidez, la dedicación y la energía que hacen de Grimes un lugar tan especial.
Como educadora, me apasiona crear espacios donde los estudiantes se sientan seguros, valorados e inspirados a dar lo mejor de sí. Ya sea apoyando el crecimiento académico, construyendo relaciones sólidas o celebrando los logros diarios, estoy aquí para ayudar a que nuestros estudiantes brillen.
